Data Deletion Instructions

Convic is a customer messaging automation platform operated by Softgrid Technologies. This page explains how users can request deletion of their account and associated data from the Convic platform in compliance with Meta Platform and WhatsApp Business integration requirements.

1. How to Delete Your Account and Data

Users of the Convic platform may request deletion of their account and associated personal and messaging data at any time directly from within their account settings.

  1. Log in to your Convic account
  2. Open the Profile section
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page
  4. Click Delete Account and All Data
  5. Confirm the deletion request
  6. Your account and associated data will be permanently removed

2. What Data Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following information is removed from Convic systems:

  • Account profile information (name, email, phone number)
  • WhatsApp Business Account integration credentials, access tokens, and related messaging configuration data
  • Conversation history and message activity
  • Customer contact database records
  • Templates and automation workflows
  • Platform preferences and configuration settings
  • API credentials and authentication keys
  • Sessions and login activity logs

3. Important Notes About Deletion Requests

  • Permanent action: Account deletion cannot be reversed once completed.
  • Processing scope: Deletion removes data stored within Convic infrastructure.
  • Meta platform data: Deletion requests related to WhatsApp Business Platform data are processed in accordance with Meta Platform Terms and WhatsApp Business Policy requirements.
  • Third-party services: External platforms such as Meta may retain data separately according to their own policies.
  • Legal retention: Certain transactional or billing records may be retained where required by law.

4. If You Cannot Access Your Account

If you are unable to log in, you may request deletion manually by contacting our support team:

Please include the following information in your request:

  • Email address associated with the account
  • Company or organization name (if applicable)
  • Brief confirmation requesting account deletion

Identity verification may be required before deletion is completed. Requests are typically processed within 7 business days.
